The Brumbies have the happy news that last season’s livewire halves pairing of Christian Lealiifano and Nic White (now recovered from injury) are featuring in Wallaby selector’s thoughts:

Eight University of Canberra Brumbies players have travelled to Sydney this week for a pre-season Wallabies camp that has drawn Australia’s best talent together.

Ben Alexander, David Pocock, Stephen Moore, Pat McCabe, Joe Tomane, Dan Palmer, Christian Lealiifano and Nic White will spend the next two days in the national camp.

They’re expected back at Brumbies’ training mid week.

Good to see – maybe Lealiifano and Nic White will get a run in the Gold jersey in 2013. It was poor use of the bench (as usual) by Robbie Deans in 2012 that delayed Nic White’s Wallaby debut. In a tough 2013 Wallaby season, someone will have to manage the bench because Deans is incapable of doing it effectively…..
