The ABC has a piece on sections of Kambah living without telephones after a burst water main took out a chunk of cabling.

Curiously Ian Peters is comfortable and relaxed because most people have mobile phones anyway.

Notso hotso for internet.

Good luck tryin to get that money out of telstra.
I’ve been fighting for 5 months now.
It’s a shame really, cause I simply don’t WANT a home phone. I have to have it though.

whoops, silly me not thinking about HTML tags being stripped!

My comment was supposed to be:

I <3 transact

You may take our telephones, but you’ll never take…our freeeedom!!!

I hope they’re all applying for credits from Telstra under the gurantee of service provisions, I think its the equivalent of line rental each day after the first 3 working days then upwards of $40 for each day after that, and if they have an appointment with a telstra technician, if the tech is more than 15 minutes late they can also get a credit
some of my details may be off but its worth checking out
