hang gliding

Last year Andrew Luton impressed us with his hang gliding release from a hot air balloon.

Today he’s sent in a cracking shot with this note:

Here is a picture from a flight of mine yesterday (6 May) out at Spring Range, 10km’s north of Hall.

This is one of the main Hang Gliding and Para Gliding sites in Canberra.

The picture was taken at the top of a loop – tough life 🙂 !!!

Haha, that’s great. Gave me vertigo and that swoop between two trees…

Some poor bugger diving for cover at 1.06 😛

Cheers for this, made my day more fun.

Heres a vid from a few flights out there two weeks ago Myles. Just ignor my landing after the beat up through the trees :-)…

Awesome.

Any chance of a video?

Just looking at this photo makes me feel sick. (And it took me about twenty seconds to figure it out, despite the headline, because my brain fought the idea. I kept seeing his hand as a weird little head.) I’ll never be an astronaut. Sigh.

😀 FUN!

I think I might have to check out the paragliding.

Nice work! My friend Larry in Adelaide has long had the nickname of “loops”. As far as I know, he’s not managed to get a shot during the event, but that might have changed…
