It’s not a power ranger, or an airbourne ranger, but TAMS are looking for Senior Rangers:

“Applications are now open for various Ranger in Charge (Technical Officer Grade 4) and Senior Ranger (Ranger Grade 3) positions in the ACT Government,” Brett McNamara, National Parks and Catchments Operations Manager, announced today.

“As custodians of the land in the ACT, these senior positions are pivotal in coordinating the effective delivery of conservation programs across the park service such as vertebrate pest control, weed control and visitor services programs.

“The Ranger in Charge position is responsible for the supervision of staff in the coordination and delivery of these conservation and land management programs. Our Senior Rangers are the operational leaders supervising ranger staff and assisting with the development of land management programs.

“Tertiary qualifications in natural and cultural resource management and park management is highly desirable for both positions.

“Applicants who are deemed suitable will be placed on an employment register to fill permanent, short and long term temporary vacancies. The register will be valid for a 12 month period.”

Sadly no Dúnedain Rangers either.
