Who's coming to town!

Dr Who seems to be experiencing something of a revival at the moment what with his new series on ABC and everything. I can’t really say I’ve ever got into the whole Doctor thing, having only watched approximately three half episodes ever. Maybe I’m too young or summat.

Anyway (get to the point K). Dr Who is coming to Canberra. Yes you heard me, the man himself is coming to our humble little town. But wait it gets better. Two of the man himself are coming to Canberra (confused…me too at first. I found this to be quite useful).

For one night only (Tues 26 July 2005 to be exact) Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and comapion to the third Doctor Katy Manning will be at the Canberra Theatre to tell you the avid fan insider stories, show (possibly) exclusive footage (it wasn’t clear from the press release) and answer any questions you are able to think up.

Tickets from Canberra Ticketing (I’ve just worked out how easy it is to do proper links and so am).

Watch out for the City News… sorry Canberra Review story this Thursday.

Wow two different Who stories in one day…from a girl who previously had nothing to do with him.

I’ve shamefully been watching ahead.

…..hoo boy, there is some good stuff in there. Not sure about what they are doing to the Doctor’s character (or the Dalek) but I guess in single episode doses they have to move the character development along very quickly.

Sam,
At least you get one delivered. I work there and haven’t managed to get my hands on the last two yet (I think I’ll have to go poking around in their cupboards…)

Dorks rejoice!

My City News always comes on Saturday, but at least I know when to get a sneak peak at the shopping centres now…

Well it’s not like you’ve got cellulite either (and you’ll all have to listen to Insatiable Banalities #12 to get the joke).

But thanks, the Doctor means a great deal to many of us.

(Even if Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy are at best a B team)
