Charity, animals, and sausages together at last!
The National Zoo and Aquarium is holding a parker day next month and a whole heap of good charities are going to be putting stuff together to raise funds to do good things.
Did I mention it’s at the zoo?
That’s where the otters are!

Visit the inaugural Wildlife and Charity Christmas Markets to do your Christmas shopping with not-for-profit organisations and contribute to the conservation of endangered wildlife!Canberra’s charities will be holding stalls raising funds for great causes. Enjoy a sausage sizzle or delicious cupcake while wondering around the market stalls in the zoo’s carpark. Feed a brown bear or tiger for $25 (limited number of places so get in early to book a spot). Enjoy the buskers’ music and maybe pat a snake or two… Don’t forget to bring your old mobile phones to be recycled and you could win a great prize (and help save gorillas)!
A wide range of products and information will be available from the stallholders below, such as gorgeous toys, stocking fillers, jewellery, clothes, wildlife adoptions, books, calendars and so much more!
