ACT Policing are seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Coles Express service station in Hawker last night (Monday, November 14).
Around 9.05pm a man approached the console operator of the Coles Express service station in Hawker. The man, who was armed with a knife, threatened the console operator and demanded cash. The console operator handed over a sum of money. The man placed the cash in a bag he was carrying and left the service station.
The man is described as about 185 centimetres (6’1”) tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-coloured top over a green hooded jumper and dark-coloured tracksuit pants with three stripes down each side. He was also wearing cream or coffee coloured sneakers and black gloves. He had a black balaclava covering his face.
