Yes, it has to be Bentspoke without a doubt

Another for Bentspoke.

Curse all this chatter! Now I’m going to have to pop down there this evening for a Ginger Beer. And maybe a Cider, tho the Wheat Beer is temping.

Bentspoke. Ginger beer. Mmmmmmm.

I would crawl over broken glass for bentspoke’s ginger beer. Hubby makes pretty damn fine one, but there is something special about theirs.

I also enjoy anything from Zierholtz. They do good stuff.

I also love how they started off as home brewers and have now tackled the craft beer market.

The same can be said for Bentspoke and Zierholz.

Wig and Pen please!

Zierholz – not many things better in this world than beer and pork knuckles.

I am not sure their bottling is done in Canberra – as far as I am aware there is no bottling plant here.

My favourite brewery is PACT. I love how everything about it is local, including the names of the beers. I also love how they started off as home brewers and have now tackled the craft beer market.

Obvious choice but I’ll go with Bentspoke. I’m torn between the Crankshaft and Sprocket India Pale Ales. Can’t wait until they start production in Mitchell.

Has to be Bentspoke! Love the Reflector amber ale.

My favourite local brewery, right now – would have to be PACT. I have fallen hard for their Tenant Pale Ale, an American style Ale that is always refreshing after a long ride or working in the yard. PACT have managed to make a big impact in a short amount of time by making their way into many restaurants and bars across the capital which is a massive win over the Lion Nathan monster that dictates what we drink in the major pubs.

I look forward to seeing what else comes from these gypsy brewers.
