ACT Policing is investigating an incident that occurred at Lake Tuggeranong this afternoon (Sunday, December 22).
Around 3.55pm, police were called to a report of a windsurfer that had come off his board and entered the water.
The incident occurred approximately 60metres from the dog park on the east side of the lake.
AFP Water Police commenced a search of the lake and surrounding areas, including divers who entered the water.
ACT Policing are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Detective Sergeant Richard Gough from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations said police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the windsurfer prior to the incident.
