Witnesses sought; Braddon property damage

ACT Policing is investigating an incident of property damage in Braddon during the early hours of Saturday morning (January 3).

About 12am, police received a report that three males had been seen jumping on top of vehicles at the car wash on the corner of Lonsdale Street and Elouera Street, Braddon. The males were described as being aged in their early teens. Members from ACT Policing City Patrol attended the area, however the offenders could not be located.

About 10am that morning, police received a report that eight cars had been damaged, with dents visible on the roof of each car, at the Braddon Auto Mart on Lonsdale Street. City Patrol members attended the address and conducted enquiries.

Police investigations into the property damage are ongoing.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed either incident or witnessed any suspicious activity in Braddon on Friday night or Saturday morning to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
