Witnesses sought; serious collision in Theodore

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a serious vehicle collision in Theodore yesterday (January 19).

About 5pm, police attended a serious vehicle collision between a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Landrover Discovery at the intersection of Tharwa Drive and Lawrence Wackett Drive, Theodore.

The Landrover was travelling north on Lawrence Wackett Drive and entered the intersection, turning right onto Tharwa Drive, when the vehicles collided.

ACT Ambulance Service attended and transported the rider of the motorcycle to The Canberra Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The rider remains in a serious but stable condition.

Police believe that, given the time of day, there may be other drivers or pedestrians that witnessed the collision who have not yet spoken to police.
