Witnesses wanted to Dickson Carmageddon

ACT Policing is investigating a traffic incident in which two women were struck by a car in Dickson this afternoon (Monday 31 January).

At 12.30pm a Toyota sedan struck two women as they walked along a nature strip in the Dickson Motor Registry carpark.

A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being dragged by the car and a 58-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.

The 34-year-old female driver of the vehicle is helping police with their enquiries.

Police would urge any witnesses who are yet to speak to police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.

should be a few witnesses around – it was pretty busy when it all happened. Hopefully the injured come out of it OK – all for going to pay your bills at rego!
