Yesterday, 8 March 2011 at 6.50pm, there was an unprovoked and sustained violent attack on an ACTION bus client, waiting for an inner south destination. The incident was witnessed and reported to the ACT police and further response action with regard to this matter will occur.

This behaviour is not to be tolerated on anyone by anyone. If you own a mobile phone, report incidents immediately via 000 and follow through with a police statement.

Get this rubbish out of our faces before we get similar assault – repeated punching in the face.

I was in a similar situation last week as i was chased by someone wielding a baseball bat on ANU campus. Completely unprovoked, just someone driving around looking to start fights.

Jesus christ… where the hell do these nutters come from?

It’s quite sad that this stuff occurs. I hope they catch them (& the troublemakers in the above posts) quickly.

On the same night, at approx. 8:10PM, there was an altercation following an alleged theft at the Erindale Shopping Centre car park/bus stop. The alleged offenders out-numbered security and Woolies staff and used this fact to quickly turn defence into a vicious attack that resembled a mini riot.

One victim received a cut above his eye requiring quite a few stitches, while another has suspected broken ribs.

I’ve seen no reports of this incident and cannot confirm if police attended. I witnessed the event so this is all based on my opinion from what I saw and feedback from Woolies staff, and have issued my own account of events to Woolies at their request.
