Err… so being an ACT minister for years isn’t regarded a leadership role? Tough crowd…

I was alluding to the fact that Katy would better serve her audience by sharing the valuable experiences of her “journey to leadership” rather than her “journey through leadership”. Her journey through leadership has barely left the driveway at this stage.

Yes, look at all the success stories of putting women in leadership positions. Carmen Lawrence, Joan Kirner, Kristina Keneally, Golda Meir. Weren’t they great? Why do women keep thinking they can be leaders when every time they’ve been given the opportunity they are proven to be incompetent and men have to be called in to try and repair the mess?

Women’s brains are ten percent smaller than men’s brains and that will remain the case no matter how much mealy mouthed bumph about “glass ceilings” and “discrimination” is trotted out by the naive dreamers and leftist loonies.

Hmmm, leftist loonies….Come to think of it, don’t see too many rightist loonies on your list. Your political affiliations aren’t showing, are they? Sarah Palin springs to mind…

The upside of a 5pm start is more chance of city office workers being able to fit this into their busy schedule before heading home for dinner.

Men’s bodies are on average more than 10% larger than women’s bodies, which would mean that men’s brains are smaller than women’s in relation to the size of their bodies.

Not that it matters…

She has only been in the ‘lead position’ for a few weeks at best. It sounds like it will be a very short and uninspiring speech.

Does seem a bit hollow, I agree.

Ah but if women’s brains are 10% smaller than men’s brains that just makes them more than 111% more efficient…..

Maybe, but Katy has work and life to balance and probably wants to get home before her little ones go to sleep…

I am reminded of Quentin Bryce’s comment to women “that they *can* have it all, but not all at the same time”… or something along those lines.

does anyone else think that a 5pm start is early?
