Canberra hosted it’s first women’s Mixed Martial Arts event last Saturday night.

Bec Hyatt from “Impact MMA” in Brisbane (wearing blue singlet) fought Sarah Morrison from “Igor MMA” in Sydney.

The fight, lasting less than two rounds was voted “fight of the night” by promoters Brace MMA Clothing, in front of a very enthusiastic crowd of around 1000 people.

The few minutes that the fight lasted was action packed with both fighters connecting many punches before taking it to the ground where Bec Hyatt’s grappling technique helped her win by “arm bar”.

Well that should discourage their marriage prospects or increase their dowry fee if the case maybe.

Isn’t it a bit unladylike for women to do this sort of thing? They should forget this and concentrate more on learning cooking and how to be a devoted wife.

I dare you to ask that question to either Bec or Sarah.

Having seen women’s MMA they’d have nothing to fear. Embarrassing

This should be compuslory for girls from some cultures. That way they can smack the f*ck out of their fathers/brothers/uncles who think it’s their right to beat women.

Mixed Martial Arts is a mixture of martial arts “codes”. Ie you can mix styles like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Judo etc together. Your not limited to the rules or techniques of one style.
Tends to mix standing, striking martial arts with grappling, ground martial arts apparently making the fights more interesting/longer.

Not as fun as the smart arse answer I know, but in case anyone wanted a proper answer.

I only follow Women’s mixed martial arts when both chicks are hot.

And in a jelly pit.

Topless.
