The Roar is floating the idea that Canberra should join in the expansion of the New South Wales Premier League soccer competition to form a second tier national comp.

The FFA is thinking about setting up a B-League, which will include promotion and relegation with the A-League, but not for a few years. So this’d be a useful starting point for Canberra.

Having watched the ACT Premier League grand final this year, our teams are nowhere near NSWPL standard, so a best-of-the-ACT team in the NSWPL would be great.

A Canberra A-League team would only draw a NSWPL crowd anyway, so its apt

If they used the Pommy system where a team can go up a tier (or be relegated) then it would be good.
