The ACT Rural Fire Service today is conducting a hazard reduction burn at the Stirling Ridge Conservation Management Area on behalf of the NCA.
The burn is located in the southern corner of Stirling Ridge, near Empire Circuit and Forster Crescent in Yarralumla.
The ACT Handy Map grid reference for the burn is K12.
The burn will cause some smoke in the area. The ACT Health Directorate advises that people with asthma and other chronic respiratory diseases should not perform vigorous exercise and should stay inside if affected by the smoke.
