Posting to get help to find the owner of this lost dog. This little dude was found wandering around Florey on Saturday 27th October:

The people who found him took him to the emergency vet in Fyshwick for scanning and he has no microchip. He also has no nametag and is not desexed. He does appear to be in decent health – no obvious injuries and is thin but not gaunt. He is very friendly with other dogs and shows no signs of aggression. He likes people and likes to be around them but is not used to being patted so there are some guesses that he might be a worker who has wandered off of the back of someone’s ute. He’s a sensitive fellow and so to spare him the pound environment, he has been listed on the “Found Dogs” section of the TAMS website, on the RSPCA website, on dogzonline and on gum tree. The TAMS listing should be here. We are also monitoring “found dogs”.

The people who found him have a low fence and a pool so we are babysitting him until his owner can be found. He seems to like hanging out with our two Kelpies. Thanks in advance.

There is a great group on Facebook called ‘Canberra Buy Swap Sell’ and people often post pics and info on lost dogs and word of mouth usually spreads the news and they are reunitied pretty quickly – I would give that a go.
