Zed's overspend on staff

The FOI process has delivered up a moderately amusing bit of bitchiness after a Legislative Assembly cockup saw Liberal Leader overspending on staff and having to beg Chief Minister Gallagher for extra monies.

It’s not entirely clear why Zed waited three months before moving to fix it.

So, do the Libs have someone who can do a better job of persuading us that he/she may be competent?
I do hope that those slinging muck at him, from the ALP, Greens or the Libs, are better at the management task than is Zed.

You haven’t heard of Jeremy Hanson have you.

As opposition leader, Zed has sod-all to manage. The reported performance to date suggests he’s not up even to that. That is, he’s a fail as a potential Chief Minister. So, do the Libs have someone who can do a better job of persuading us that he/she may be competent?

This stuff has to be damaging for Zed. That’s two strikes for his chief of staff, I wonder how many more Zed is going to give him. A poor judgement call in my view with Zed employing family. Stephen needs to go back to managing small hick Clubs, as this stuff is out of his field of expertise.

That was a typographical error as opposed to grammatical and was put there on purpose to see who fell for it….

gramatical

I saw this very quickly in my daily squiz at the front page of the Canberra Times. It was also moderately amusing to note that both the Chief Ministers letter and the Leader of the Oppositions letter to each other contained gramatical errors. Bally hell! If they can’t get it right, or at least have someone in the office who can, then there is not much hope is there!!
