A couple of weeks ago there was some excitement around Zimbabwe’s Ambassador Zwambila who had apparently taken to chastising her staff here in Canberra by removing her clothes.

The Zimbabwe Guardian now reports that Harare is not amused and after some argy bargy she has left our fair city to face the music:

ZIMBABWE’S Ambassador to Australia, Ms Jacqueline Zwambila, has been recalled to Harare for debriefing after she allegedly stripped in front of male embassy officials in Canberra.

According to sources, Ambassador Zwambila arrived in Zimbabwe yesterday after a stopover in South Africa on Sunday.

It is understood that she was forced to travel to Harare after getting an ultimatum from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Zwambila had allegedly ignored a letter advising her to come back home and give her side of the story.

We’re sure she’ll be missed on the cocktail circuit.

So why can’t Julia do the same?

Which, go to Zimbabwe, or taker her clothes off? Both prospects are pretty bleak.

She should blame witches, they like that sort of thing in Rumbabwe.

For certain they’ll cut her arms off when she gets back to Zimbo!

Was that a crude reference to sharia law? Cos Zimbabwe is a predominantly Christian country.

Recalled to Harare for debriefing… *snicker*
