Situated in the ISKIA building in Campbell, Lanterne Rooms is an established eatery known across the city for its bold Nyonya flavours. Each dish served in this beloved Asian restaurant has what the Lanterne Rooms team calls an ‘A-ma’ or ‘grandma’ soul, a comforting quality that reminds us of hardy home cooking. Contrasted with modern presentation, the cuisine is both classic and innovative, traditional and contemporary.
The passionate team behind AKIBA is inspired by the informal, lively, exciting dining halls and rooms throughout the East-Asia region. Their incredible and diverse menu showcases the many styles of Asian barbeque, modern-day Dim Sum, raw food, and so much more. Although the AKIBA team stays true to authentic Asian flavours, they make use of fresh local produce where possible. The result is a fast-paced dining experience that’s not to be missed.
A local favourite, The Golden Drum delivers authentic Szechuan cuisine. But don’t worry – their friendly staff happily cater to all levels of spice. Popular dishes include the baked fish and wild rabbit. If you are planning a visit, keep in mind that this place gets busy fast. The service is quick and efficient, so you shouldn’t have to wait too long if The Golden Drum is full.
