Caught this one in Woden, out the back of the new Sirius Building.
Always wanted to catch an inverted umbrella in the area, fairly iconic of Windy Woden.
I love that the guy is just ‘going with it’, and he’ll probably pop it out and use it again.
Rocking in the free world.

He should have just put a box on his head like the guy behind him.
That Woden wind tunnel is the most depressing, concrete-encased cold lonely streetscape ever. And that bit out the back of the Sirius stinks of sewage!
This shows you what Lovett tower does with the wind, http://vimeo.com/40493109 and they what to build more high rise! http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/woden-to-reach-for-the-heights-20120311-1usy6.html.

But didn’t you read the article?
“LDA general manager urban renewal Ian Wood-Bradley said solar and window experts had worked on avoiding these issues at Woden 9 with designs to break the down draft and turbulence and block cold westerly winds.”
So they are going to stop all that nasty wind! Hahahahaha! What a load of bollocks!
