20,000 homes in the Molonglo Valley

By johnboy - 16 April 2005 5

Westward Ho!

ABC Online brings news that the city is to expand into the Molonglo Valley to the tune of 20,000 homes.

Curiously, Mt Stromlo, despite having done no serious direct astronomy in decades, still has the right to get the street lights turned down.

What’s Your opinion?

its nice and close to civic, could be a viable investment as long as property prices start out okay.

i always considured that part of canberra to be abit of a void that seperated western creek and belco, sort of split the town up abit…

Sad but true.

I doubt it….. More money in stuffing people in as closely as possible with skinny roads….

Hope they learn from the urban planning disaster which is Gunghalin.

There goes the neighbourhood…. In the mornings I drive along there and look out at vast expances of quaint rural/ bushland, and think, this is why I live in Canberra.

Now it appears another Gungahlin is about to explode upon this scene.
