7.30 ACT on the ABC
Friday July 25th

  1. “Kill the Pig” – feral pigs in Namadgi National Park are being rounded up and killed humanely by the park rangers. Meanwhile illegal hunters are sneaking into the park with dogs to hunt and kill the pigs in a brutal and barbaric manner. ( This story has several short graphic hunting sequences)
  2. House Warming – a year ago, we told the story of this unique house, set amongst a community of volunteers and designed to give maximum independence to people with a disability. Jackson West has been living there for a year with his carer.. so how is it going? Amazingly well.
  3. Here Come the Dogs – is the title of the first book by renowned Queanbeyan rapper and poet, Omar Musa.
  4. Bareback Brumbies – the Brumbies and their Bareback supporters are ready for Saturday’s semi-final against the Waratahs.
  5. Closer – the art work of children’s book author/illustrator Bob Graham.
