Fireworks from the suburbs

The kelpies were all locked up for the 9pm fireworks tonight but I quite enjoyed the view from the garden.

Roll on midnight.

I can confirm the Canberra ones went for longer than the Sydney ones. The latter finished quite quickly, while the Canberra ones were still blasting away for some time afterwards. We need to grab those buggers from Collector next time and make them do their crackers here though.

I watched them from a higher point, and they were very impressive! Went for longer than expected, must have been 15 minutes. The local dogs went off as the noise was a bit like distant thunder. I guess the humid air from the strong easterly tonight made the sound carry further and stronger.
