Angle Crossing and Sunshine Crossing now open

This just in from TAMS

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that Angle Crossing and Sunshine Crossing have reopened.

The crossings have been closed since last month due to flooding.

If the ants around here are anything to go by don’t expect them to stay open long.

At Sparrow Hill, on the way to Bungnedonia, there are two big ant mounts on the first track. Last night both were crawling with ants, so much so they were flying off the tyres as we rode past them.

I was waiting for a couple to latch on but we were lucky.

I drive past the Angle Crossing intersection with the Monaro Highway daily. I haven’t seen the sign say it’s open for many, many months.
