About Travis Gilbert

Travis Gilbert is CEO of ACT Shelter and Vice Chair of National Shelter. He has worked in housing and homelessness related roles for the better part of two decades.

He is currently working together with Shelter members for housing justice and wants every Canberran realise their right to adequate housing.

He believes it takes a home to end homelessness and that an affordable, appropriate, safe and secure home of decent amenity is the foundation for better outcomes over a person's life-course.
