Wallabies captain David Pocock has signed on with the Brumbies for a three-year deal, starting next year when his Wallabies commitments are complete.

Pocock said he was looking forward to a fresh start with the Brumbies.

“I’m incredibly thankful to the Emirates Western Force and the people of Perth for the support they have given me over the last seven years,” Pocock said.

“After discussing things with Em we’ve decided that a move to Canberra and a fresh start with the Brumbies is the best move for us.”

He seems like a decent bloke, very ecologically orientated with a bright outspoken wife…sure he’ll love Canberra, looks made for him.
Can’t believe he’s only 24 though, he carries himself like bloke 10 years older.

Um, he isn’t married. He is on record as saying he will not get married to his (female) partner until gay marriage is legalised.

I remember reading that but now she’s calling herself Emma Pocock instead of Palandri I thought they’d just done the deed?

Hopefully he works out better than the last flanker/Wallabies captain signed by the Brumbies.
