18 November is the day to experience everything Korea has to offer, without having to hop on an airplane!
The Korean Embassy will host a Korea Day festival on 18 November from 10.30 am – 4 pm and it’s not an event you would want to miss!.
The festival will showcase various programs including Korean food tasting, Korean cultural performances, cultural experience programs and an exhibition with the participation of Korean communities, public organisations, and enterprises.
The festival starts with a super-sized Bibimbap making performance. You will also get the chance to taste delicious Korean cuisine including Bulgogi, Bibimbap, Japchae, Dakgalbi, Gimbap, Naengmyeon, Kimchi Jeon, Insamcha, Makgeolli.
Performances of Taekwondo, K-Pop dance, Korean traditional dance, and music will be held throughout the day.
In addition, participating programs such as ‘Quiz on Korea’, as well as a traditional Korean play and writing Korean will entertain the visitors and children.
From the entrance to the main garden, brand new Korean cars and electronic home appliances will be on display and the photo exhibition “Korea: Then and Now” will be held, showcasing Korea’s past and present.
In particular, there will be an opportunity to experience the ‘PyeonChang Winter Olympic 2018’ through virtual reality!
