It might be 160 years old, but ‘Pine Ridge’ still has a lot of life left in it. Photos: Raine and Horne Goulburn.

With great views, old-world charm and a rich history, ‘Pine Ridge’ is a fantastic opportunity to experience a part of Australian history.

Pine Ridge at 154 Rose Vale Road, Fullerton, one hour north of Goulburn, is a historic boutique property that dates back to the 1860s and was the Fullerton post office and telephone exchange until 1982.

The property stretches across 40 acres and features a beautifully renovated cottage, established and landscaped gardens, multiple fully fenced paddocks and much more.

Raine and Horne Goulburn real estate agent Nicolas Heath said everyone who’s visited the home falls in love with the views.

“The views from the home are impressive. Even on a bad day, you can take a seat and look out down the valley and the view is still striking,” he said.

“When we’ve brought people to inspect the home, it all comes back to how good the views are. It’s just a really charming property.”

The home has three bedrooms and a single bathroom, an open plan living area, timber flooring, and multiple slow combustion fireplaces.

Making your way into the home, you’ll find the open plan kitchen, living and dining area, complete with full-length windows that capture the magnificent views over the garden and down the valley.

Inside the open plan living area, you’ll find a lovely kitchen featuring timber bench tops, an island bench, and a six-burner free-standing stove.

One of the home’s many fireplaces can be found adjacent to the dining room in the lounge and there’s a small sitting area right in front of the full-length windows.

Continuing through the house, there’s a study just off the dining space that could be turned into a fourth bedroom.

The bedrooms can be found in a small attached cottage that has been recently renovated. The master bedroom has an open fireplace and a large walk-in robe.

Moving outside are multiple fenced paddocks and sheds for storage, a three-bay machinery shed and a shearing shed.

Nic says the property is very versatile.

“You could pick it up and use it as a family home or put the paddocks and shed to use and have a small hobby farm. It depends on what the person living here wants out of it.”
