Greens side with Labor on Bimberi

Vick Dunne is furious the Greens have sided with Labor to defeat her motion for a judicial inquiry into the Bimberi youth detention centre.

“The Greens have failed the community once more. Despite the overwhelming concerns raised by former and current staff, the Greens have dismissed them and labelled them obstructive,” said Mrs Dunne.

“Both the Labor party and the Greens have said the processes put in place are adequate, yet insiders are speaking out at their own risk to say otherwise. Now Ms Hunter has the gall to condemn those people that are bravely speaking up against the Department and the Minister.

“The Greens, as usual, accept hook line and sinker the spin line from the Labor Party. I would ask for the Greens to apologise if I thought it would make any difference.

“This morning, Labor and the Greens voted against shining a light on the culture of cover up. They have once again failed the community,” Mrs Dunne said.

Greens siding with Labor? Shock horror!

Like, what does anyone expect? That the Greens will actually think for themselves?

The Greens came in on a platform of ‘support labor unless there is corruption’. Therefore, there is no, and will never be, any corruption.
