The new RiotACT layout has opened up the amusing (if somewhat puerile) possibility of a brand new timewasting diversion, all thanks to the one-long-block-of-text nature of the “Recent Entries” box over there on the right.
Given that there’s no separation between the titles, they very neatly run into each other, creating whole new headlines combining the ends of some with the beginnings of others.
Recent headlines include:
* In the Market for a House – offer them $50,000 less hollow vase (sounds like a good price to me)
* Clocks go back an hour, ACT population stagnates (So that’s why some people oppose daylight saving)
* Abduction at the Belconnen Mall, what do you call it when you take something away and give nothing in return? (A fair description of an abduction)
And my personal favourite at the moment:
* Government masturbates Watson bad boy (Some people get all the Government “services”.)
