I was at the game and I didn’t hear any booing when the CFMEU thing went down – all I heard was the usual half-time disinterested chatter. I did hear a news report later that claimed there was booing though. Interesting…

It was at half time – when the average punter is out the back of the stand having a leak, or lining up to buy a rats coffin, or having a fag and a yarn with their mates.

Its just like any other half time Raiders promotion – only the desperates took any notice of it…

Indeed, I was thinking how counter-productive this stuff can be.

BTW – the days of unions running things are almost at an end, thankfully.

Perhaps (and is this is just one revolutionary’s idea) we could go to the footy and watch…footy! And not have every hardline wanker trying to push their own agenda.
The reality is that some people like unions, some don’t. Most people base that thought on how they grew up and what work they do. Most people don’t change their minds because of some hardliner pushing it on them.

I recall when people like the BLF et al used to ‘run’ the country from their clique in Pentridge Prison…..most of them there through the attacks they perpetuated on their ‘members’.

Some people think Greg Combet is a complete wanker. I would rather have the people that were elected run this country rather than those like Combet and his cronies that historically held it to ransom in places like waterfronts and building sites.
