SMH Catches up with RA on Brumbies prognosis

Nicely put Kimba and yet the Government are upping the offer for an entire team of prostitutes in the shape of the Kangaroos – an entire “team for hire’ appealing to less than 10000 Canberrans, I’d much rather they put more money into the Raiders and Brumbies who at least have some local ‘connections’, the Kangaroos have none.

It’s not the first time that it has been suggested that the Brumbies will dump Canberra in search of the mighty dollar. Canberra does not have the best record for supporting its national teams at the best of times. If the Brumbies have a few lean years watch the supporter base disappear!

As for Giteau – good on him, but it just reaffirms my view that most professional footballers are simply ‘prostitutes’. I for one will not be too disappointed if he fails over there.

Whoever put that ‘exclusive’ tag on, is a clown. Not only did RA raise the possibility, I have read it in a number of publications since.
That said, this is just another case of the SMH having a go at the Brumbies, I sincerely hope we get to meet the Tahs in the semis and smash ’em.
