Next cab off the rank for the $10 lunch review is the bento box from Tasuke in the bus interchange.
It’s not the speediest of feeds, I was there for a good 10 minutes. Tasuke itself is a magical little piece of Tokyo in the middle of civic so it never hurts to visit.
Once served though, well it’s a hell of a lot of lunch for $8.50.
The dumplings with chilli jam were just mindbogglingly good, and the deep fried sushi slices something new and greatly enjoyed.
The pickled vegetables and seaweed break up the fried food nicely.
The hard part is going to be walking past and going somewhere else for the rest of this review series.
Highly recommended.
