Whats on this weekend in Canberra 3 & 4 May 2014

By Damien Haas - 2 May 2014 6

Are the new regime going to continue this weekly thread? I see bad parkers has been mothballed.

Anyway here is one event I am aware of:

Canberra Collectormania Fair Sunday May 4

Quokka Pavilion, EPIC Showgrounds, Flemington Rd Mitchell.

9am till 3pm.

(Thanks for kicking this off again Damien, sounds like a good thing to me – Canfan)

What’s Your opinion?

On Sunday the sleepy hamlet of Michelago will come alive with the Mayfair.
Petting zoo, market stalls, fun for young and old. The historic disused train station will be open. There’s a lovely avenue of poplars in their autumn glory.
About half an hour’s drive south of Tuggeranong.

Speaking of kicking things off, again, perhaps someone from the local ABC would like to revive the Friday thread about what’s on ACT 7.30 tonight. On which, well done to the local team for last night’s story about homelesses – sadly and increasingly topical (for men, as well, of course).
