You’ll never look at Bunda Street the same way again

By johnboy 19 March 2005 1

Browsing all the livejournal entries mentioning Canberra can be an unrewarding experience. Homesick uni girls (both those here, homesick for somewhere else, and vice versa), illiterate party boys, reams of l33t speak (they are teh suX0rs mang, OMG). But it’s worth it for the odd gem.

Like discovering that all our Portugese vistors have been sniggering their way through Civic for years without telling us.

I have no idea what Bunda Street means in English or in native dialect, but I will tell you what Bunda means in Portuguese. A Bunda is a big, nice, round fat bottom in Portuguese.

What’s Your opinion?
