The massive Canberra Roller Derby League grand final double header is on Saturday, 14 November!
It’s Block to the Future and you can bet there’ll be plenty of thunder and lightning!
In game 1, the Brindabelters take on the Black’n’Blue Belles. The Belters have a winning record against the Belles this season. But the Belles have been gathering their strength and outshone the Red Bellied Black Hearts in the final game of the year. Can the Belles avoid going back in time and take revenge on the Belters for their last gasp loss last year?
In game 2, the Red Bellied Black Hearts will take on the Surly Griffins for the premiership. The Hearts were unbeaten all season this year – until the last home season game when the Belles took them down a peg. The Griffs are looking for back to back premierships, but are they ‘Johnny Be Good’ enough to reclaim their position over the Hearts?
Great Scott Marty! This will be a HUGE night of world class roller derby in the national capital!
Get down to the Southern Cross Stadium on Saturday, 14 November for all of the action ‘cause you’ll be wishing you had a DeLorean if you miss it!
Doors open at 3pm for a 4pm start at Tuggeranong Southern Cross Stadium.
