Today Joy Burch congratulated 27 ACT teachers and principals who were recognised for their work, dedication and innovation at the 2013 Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) ACT Awards.
“Quality teachers and leaders are the bedrock of a quality education system,” Ms Burch said.
“The depth and diversity of talent of the ACEL ACT award winners reflect the quality of our education system, and in turn the excellent outcomes achieved by our students.”
The ACEL ACT Awards are a staple event on the local education calendar and honour educational leaders who have made a significant contribution in the profession. This year they were held on 21 November 2013.
