The driver of a vehicle found on its side and carrying three passengers, including two children, blew four times the legal limit when breath-tested for alcohol.
Police said that about 5:50 pm on Saturday (6 July) officers responded to reports that a white Toyota utility was on its side at a roundabout on Pialligo Avenue, near Canberra Airport.
The driver of the utility, a 31-year-old man, returned a positive breath test result over four times the legal 0.05 blood alcohol limit. His licence was immediately suspended.
No other vehicles were involved, and although an adult passenger and two young children were in the vehicle, nobody was seriously injured in the incident.
