ARC Vikings named

Already got my tickets booked. Look forward to seeing a crowd, including you, there (but apparently without the Ferret).

Yeah…since when did the AFL own Manuka Oval? & how is the ARC a “half hearted and undermanned competition” in comparison? I’ll be at as many Vikings games as I can get to this season…can’t say I’ve ever been to a local AFL match, & likely never will.

Manuka is not perfect, though rugby has been played there for a long time and its an attractive ground. Why should the local AFL people have any rights in where another code plays its matches, assuming it has booked a ground. In fact, didn’t the AFL folk once have a remarkably neglected enclosed ground in Phillip?

Give Manuka back to the AFL Canberra finals and piss this half hearted and undermanned competition back to district playing fields where it belongs (or Viking Park which would be the perfect size and shape)
