It’s a funny thing.
Popular causes (ie building something, anything in Gungahlin) can apparently be announced without any effort or planning.
And yet the ABC is reporting that the Planning and Environment Committee has been forced to shelve its inquiry into water use in Canberra so that it can roll up its sleeves and deal with the pressing issue of development in Molonglo 20 years hence.
Some inconvenient truths looming on the horizon were they?
