The three day Dragon Dreaming Festival is kicking off this weekend in the Kowen Forest out past the airport.

“Artists, performers, musicians and lovers of outdoor festivals are converging from all over Australia to experience what is shaping up to be one of the biggest yearly festivals of this type Australia wide.

Our ethos is to promote local artists of all kinds nurturing and uniting our community to bring you an arts, music and culture festival experience that will stay with you forever.

There will be four main areas representing the four elements: The Fire Dragon stage, Water Dragon stage, Air Dragon stage and Earth Dragon stage. The fifth element is LOVE!”

Thanks Johnboy for posting our event 😉 we certainly forgot to! It went really well, with a lot of beautiful people from all around canberra and australia in attendance, not to mention a smorgasboard of really fantastic musicians, performers, and installation artists, thankyou to them all!

“what an incredible weekend, props to all the crews involved! i can’t believe how professional everything was, it seemed like every little thing had been thought of and planned for – fucking awesome work. galactic centre x1000.

over the whole three days, every friend and every random i spoke to was having the time of their lives, just blown away with the whole experience. i met a lot of people who said it was their first festival ever and they couldn’t wait to be at the next one – the best random comment was “man, i feel like i’ve wasted years because i’ve only just discovered this scene this weekend! you don’t get this shit at mooseheads!” damn fucking straight you don’t!
