Public talk: Artificial Intelligence, machines on the rise

Speaking, natural-sounding machines which can interact with humans using normal conversational patterns are still in the realm of science fiction – or are they?

Associate Professor James Curran is developing artificial intelligence which will revolutionise the way we interact with technology – using spoken language, the same way we interact with each other.
