The Telegraph is all over the Canberra Raiders stoush with their young star Anthony Milford:

THE Canberra Raiders are refusing to negotiate with Anthony Milford, who last night requested to be released from the club via his manager.

Canberra Raiders chief executive Don Furner said the club would wait until season’s end before they discussed the future of their best young player.

Milford’s manager Sam Ayoub told News Corp exclusively that he had formally requested Milford be released from the final year of contract, citing a compassionate grounds get-out clause.

Milford’s father is ill and the fullback wants to return to Brisbane to be with his family.

Sit on the roof taking selfies and downing pineapple breezers is apparently the easy way out.
