Dan has an interest in people and society. After completing a BA in Communications, the question of what makes people tick and how we fit into our world led him to a career in acting. After twenty five years in the business he walked away: "I was nearly famous for a long time." he says.
"Most actors spend a lot of time doing something else and Dan has done a lot of that; acting and admin, bouncer and barman, factory hand, forklift driver, warehousing and abattoirs, painter, landscaper and labourer, sales, teaching, MC and author.
Dan has delivered presentations from the factory floor to the boardroom, sat on milk crates teaching adult basic education in prison yards, he has MC'd weddings and corporate events and most recently published a book called The Raffle Gods which is rich with his love of Australia and his fascination with why people are who they are.
