Best place to sell second-hand books?

I have almost a literal truck-load of books that I really don’t need or want any more.

Most are in good condition and if possible I’d rather sell them or exchange them for store credit rather than giving them away.

Any ideas on where the best place would be?

I got rid of some books at Q Bookstore in Curtin and they didn’t pay too badly – better than nothing, I figured. Maybe $2 per book so it was good value for some but less so for others. I tried the Lyneham place and they were very rude! Haven’t tried Fyshwick or Hawker yet.

I might be interested, depending on what sort of books and how much. I’ll PM you when I figure out how to.

Yes. Sell them to meeeeeee…….Chop chop.

Don’t be too disappointed if no-one wants them, or won’t offer what you regard as a reasonable price. The emergence of online bookshops has substantially reduced the price that all bookshops- including second hand places- can offer their stock.

We ended up taking a lot of books to Artsound for their book/record fair…

Advertise a book sale on Riotact! Then get rid of the leftovers at BookLore in Lyneham …

Beyond Q unfortunately closed last year. I read that Cantys might be closing too. Any other suggestions. Jan Appel

Canty’s Bookshop in Fyshwick is a great place.. I believe he offeres store credit as well as monies.
