Tucked out of sight on a leafy, tree-lined street surrounded by parks and green spaces, this single-level apartment at 6/20 De Burgh Street features over 100 square metres of living space inside a boutique Lyneham complex.

Bastion Property Group partner Theo Koutsikamanis says everything about the apartment is oversized, with no compromises made.

“The first thing I get told is that it looks a lot bigger in person than in the photos and floor plans,” he says.

“It’s bigger than your average ex-Government house in O’Connor, floor-size-wise.

“It is probably bigger than most original homes in the area.”

Mr Koutsikamanis says there is enough space for full-size furniture in the apartment, making it perfect for any downsizers already kitted out for their new home.

He also shared the real estate wisdom that when looking for an apartment, it is always possible to find others that are newer or more modern, but you can’t ‘make size’.

Plus, you won’t have to worry about stairs, with full elevator access up to the home’s entrance, which leads directly into an open-plan living and dining space with floor-to-ceiling windows.

To the left of the family hub is a spacious kitchen boasting all-electric SMEG appliances, a dishwasher, Caesarstone bench-tops, a stylish chic glass splash-back and plenty of storage space.

Walk to your right and you’ll find yourself on an undercover balcony extending into a private enclave for the master bedroom, complete with an ensuite and walk-in-robe.

Two additional bedrooms with built-in robes are clustered around the main bathroom, which features an oversized shower, large stone top vanity and concealed Euro-style laundry.

Mr Koutsikamanis said the other highlight was the inner north lifestyle offered by the apartment, just one street back from light rail and a short walk to Dickson and Braddon.

Two secure car spaces complete the property.

“To get all that in a lock-up-and-live, carefree environment like this apartment offers is quite rare,” Mr Koutsikamanis says.

“It’s very hard to get something that’s anywhere near comparable.”

This apartment at 6/20 De Burgh Street in Lyneham is open for inspection on Saturday, 29 April, between 2 pm and 2:30 pm and on Saturday, 6 May, between 1 pm and 1:30 pm. It goes to auction on Saturday, 6 May, at 1:30 pm. Call Theo Koutsikamanis on 0431 543 649 or Richard King on 0477 881 100 to find out more, and check out all the latest listings on Zango.
