A man and a woman have been charged with drug trafficking after ACT Policing executed a search warrant at a Gordon home on Wednesday night (11 September).

Around 7 pm, police found a trafficable quantity of what is believed to be methamphetamine inside the home, along with two conducted energy weapons and $6100 in cash.

While police were at the house, a 31-year-old man entered the property and was subsequently searched. A clip-seal bag containing a substance believed to be meth and $700 in cash were located in a bag the man was carrying.

The man was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis.

A 40-year-old woman was also charged with trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis, possessing prohibited weapons and breaching a good behaviour order.

Both the man and woman are expected to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (12 September).
