Equal Time - Defence of Joel Monaghan

So I’ve had an email in, and in the interest of equal time (while bearing the risks of raking over dead coals) here it is:

I have produced a song about Raiders supporters – BAY 72
Andrew Voss added some Raiders footage from the Nine Network vaults and put it
to air as part of his Sunday Roast show earlier this year
I have made my own video – as a kind of protest against the treatment handed
out to Joel Monaghan.

Interesting – thanks for posting. The timing is fine as Thursday night’s episode of Rake on ABC also dealt with the issue of letting the family dog “cross that line”. The accused in this case was a well respected doctor, played by Sam Neill, and of course the lawyer got him off by convincing the jury that laws against animal love were archaic, by boring the jury stupid with the video footage of the act, and the fact that the dog had a massive lipstick going on… Raiders fans may want to catch it on I View…
